The Office of Graduate Programs serves as a central location and source of information for all graduate students and graduate faculty at UNBC. The office works closely with the Northern British Columbia Graduate Students Society to ensure students needs are met, and questions are answered. The Office of Graduate Programs hosts many workshops and events, including the Annual UNBC Graduate Conference hosted each spring.

This year, the Schulich IS team selected 'Team Titawin' from the cs8857a class. as the project team that delivered the best project of the twenty projects submitted.

The list of Life Science Selections below is divided into two sets: a) science courses that count towards the science credit requirement for the . and b) non-science courses that do not count towards the science requirement for the . Students must take a minimum of 77 credits of science courses for their degree. Students must also ensure that they have at least 97 upper-level credits from the Faculty of Science courses. Note that science students are only permitted to count 68 credits of courses from faculties other than Arts or Science towards the degree (., APBI, CONS, and FRST courses).

As for my academic genealogy, my thesis adviser was  Ross Anderson his was  Roger Needham then it runs back through  Maurice Wilkes ,  Jack Ratcliffe ,  Edward Appleton ,  Ernest Rutherford ,  JJ Thomson ,  Lord Rayleigh ,  Edward Routh ,  William Hopkins ,  Adam Sedgwick ,  Thomas Jones ,  Thomas Postlethwaite ,  Stephen Whisson ,  Walter Taylor ,  Roger Smith ,  Roger Cotes ,  Isaac Newton ,  Isaac Barrow  and  Vincenzo Viviani  to  Galileo Galilei.
